My Background
Hi, I’m Sophie. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 4, I grew up navigating the challenges of an active lifestyle while managing T1D. My passion for exercise and nutrition started young and became my profession after graduating with a First-Class Sports degree from Bath University and qualifying as a Nutritionist shortly after.
From experience, both exercise and nutrition involve trial and error—figuring out what works for you. This journey isn’t always smooth (I certainly had my fair share of glucose struggles!), but it leads to a deeper understanding of your body.
I’ve also faced my own challenges with finding a balanced approach to fitness and nutrition that is not restrictive nor obsessive —something many diabetics can relate to. Now, I’m here to help you do the same. My goal is to support T1s in building a positive relationship with exercise and nutrition while achieving their health goals. Beyond education and advice, I offer emotional support from someone who truly understands.

The addition of regular check-ins and continuing communication can go a long way in providing you with support, assistance and motivation to keep working towards your goals. Additionally, regular reviews allow for adaptations to be made as things progress and/or change, to ensure the advice is always up-to-date, relevant and unique.
