TSC Team @ The Bristol Flyers Partners Tournament

The Bristol Flyers host an annual partners and sponsors basketball tournament each year. As most of you will know- The Sport Clinic is partnered with the team and I regularly treat their professional players both in clinic and at home games.

I assembled a team of friends and clients, made up some personalised TSC tees, and we rocked up to the SGS College Filton for some fun. We had the honour and privilege of being given Flyers star Trejon Jacob as our coach. He did a fantastic job keeping us motivated and giving us some sound advice.

It was a busy evening with 11 teams being entered this year - the most ever, and a whole mix of ages and abilities from people that had never played before to some 6'8 barn burners and some guys throwing down dunks!... My old limbs were not keeping up with the latter!

Before our games, I was whisked up by the Flyers podcast guys Joel and Sam for a quick interview for the podcast.. keep your eyes peeled on YouTube and your ears on stand by for spotify listeners. The podcast hosts are great at their jobs and genuinely nice guys. Give the pod a listen.

The TSC team then put a solid 5 minutes (that was the length of the games to fit it all in) to start with our first game. We had a couple of solid lay ups from our guy Dan B to seal us the win against the Clifton Coffee team.

Unfortunately we fell in the next game to some team that I can't even remember ;-) we didn't make the semi finals, and that was our night over. We were not to go further but still smiling from a great atmosphere and evening.

We had a fanatic time at SGS and want to say a huge thank you to our hosts The Bristol Flyers and of course to all of the companies and organisations that attended the evening. Lastly a massive thank you to the guys that represented The Sport Clinic. Respect!
